Josh McCown played quarterback for the SMU for three years and then Sam Houston State for one, which at the time was a NCAA Division I-AA school. He threw 59 touchdowns over his college career, he also threw for 7,503
yards and 46 interceptions. At Sam Houston State he threw for 3,481 yards, 32 TDs, and 12 interceptions.
At the 2002 NFL Draft Josh McCown shot up the draft due to his NFL Combine performance. He was selected in the third round by the Arizona Cardinals. He has played on many teams: Arizona; Detroit; Oakland; Carolina; Chicago; Tampa Bay; and Cleveland. He is primarily a backup, although due to RG IIIs injury he is starter for the Browns at this time, September 13, 2016.
Josh McCown has made $32,043,000 over the course of his career as a backup. Not bad!
