2014 Team Rankings
#4 Overall in the AP

Nine starters returning on defense

Returning player stats (class rank is this year’s and data is for 2014)

Landon Collins- SS – Senior – Tackles: 60 solo, 99 total - Pass defense: 3 interception, 7 passed defended

Alabama’s stellar defense of last year is returning nine of eleven starters. The defense should be solid. They will miss Amari Cooper. The Tide's success really boils down to how well can Jacob Coker adjust? It will be tough, as Wisconsin is their first game, and then Ole Miss is their third. Coker will get tested early and often and is Alabama’s key to a successful season.
