The TCU Horned Frogs are ranked 2nd in the AP coming into the 2015 season. Here is some raw data:

2014 Team Rankings
#3 Overall in the AP
Points scored per game: 46.5 (2nd of 128)
Points allowed per game: 19.0 (8th of 128)
Ten starters returning on offense
Six starters returning on defense

Returning player stats (class rank is this year’s and data is for 2014)
Trevone Boykin –QB - Senior – Passing: 3,901 yards, 7.9 yards per throw, 33 TDs, 10 interceptions, 145.9 QB rating – Rushing: 707 yards, 4.7 yards per carry, 8 TDs - All-American and Big 12 All-Conference
Joey Hunt – Center – Senior – All-Conference
Jaden Oberkrom – K – Senior – Field goals: 22 made, 30 attempted, 73.3 % - PAT 42 of 42 – Points: 108 total, Big 12 All-Conference
Chris Hackett – FS- -Senior – Tackles: 51 solo, 75 total – Pass defense: 7 interceptions, 6 passes defended, Big 12 All-Conference

TCU is looking very strong. An All-American QB returning to the team is huge. The offense returns all but one starter. The key to the Horned Frogs will be whether the defense can do enough? TCU will more than likely make the playoffs, but can they win it? Again, we believe the key is the defense. Time will tell.
