Offensive Tackle Ron Yary from USC was the first pick of the 1968 NFL Draft.. Ron was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings.
Ron was a two-time All-American. In 1967 he won the Outland Trophy and the Knute Rockne award. His USC teams won the National Championship in 1968.
Ron played in the NFL for 15 seasons. He was a seven-time Pro-Bowler and a three time NFC Champion. He is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame.
