Nobis is one of college football’s all-time greatest linebackers. He averaged nearly 20 tackles per game over his career. He led the 1963 Longhorns to a National Championship. He won the Outland Trophy, the Maxwell Award, and was a two-time All-American. He also played on offense as a lineman.
