Jake Coker led his Crimson Tide team to a National Championship this year in his last season as a college football player.
Coker passed for 3,110 yards, 25 TDs, and eight interceptions for a 146.6 QB rating. He also rushed for two TDs.
At 6-5 and 232 pounds Jake has the size NFL teams like; however, he is projected to be a 4th or 5th rounder. Given his size and success in college some team might give him a serious look and a chance in the NFL.
His predecessor, AJ McCarron, was a fifth round selection and the 164th pick overall with a solid career as Andy Dalton’s backup. AJ led his team after Dalton got hurt and has a bright future in the NFL. AJ could very well become a starter for some NFL team in the near future.
Perhaps this is the route Coker takes?
