Quarterback Jared Goff from the University of California, Berkeley was the first pick of the 2016 NFL Draft. Jared was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams.

Jared Goff threw for 12,195 yards, 96 TDs, and 30 interceptions while at University of California, Berkeley. His teams were an unimpressive 14-23.

At the NFL his size, 6’ 4”, and his performance in the positional drills helped his stock in the NFL draft. The Rams drafted him as the first overall draft pick and as of September 1, 2016 coach Jeff Fisher is thinking of starting him in the season opener.
