Shaun Alexander holds the all-time rushing record at Alabama with 3,565 yards. Shaun played from 1996 to 1999. He rushed for a 4.9 yards-per-carry average and 41 TDs over his career.

Bobby Humphrey is the second leading all-time rusher at Alabama with 3,420 yards. He rushed for a 5.6 yards-per-carry average and 33 TDs over his career.

Both backs played in the NFL. Shaun Alexander played in the NFL for nine years and a was a three-time Pro Bowler. Shaun rushed for 9,453 yards for a 4.3 yards-per-carry average and 100 TDs over his NFL career. Bobby had a five-year career in the NFL and was a one-time Pro Bowler. Bobby rushed for 2,857 yards for a 4.1 yards-per-carry average and 15 TDs over his NFL career.

Derrick Henry has the chance to surpass both of these backs. Time will tell. As of press time Henry had 3,358 yards rushing.
