Junior Linebacker/Defensive Linemen Jonathan Allen led the Crimson Tide with 12 sacks. He also had 35 tackles and forced two fumbles.

Some people advised him to enter the NFL draft, but he chose to stay due to the NFL advisory committee review which had him going in the second round rather than the first. If he has another good year and goes in the 2017 NFL draft first round, then this will have been a very good decision for him.

Jonathan is majoring in financial planning and has already used his future degree for making financial decisions. His professors and coaches should be very proud of him.
