Quarterback Jameis Winston from Florida State University was the first pick of the 2015 NFL Draft. Jameis Winston was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Jameis Winston had an amazing two-year career at Florida State. He went 26-1 as a starter, threw for 7,964 yards, 65 touchdowns, and 28 interceptions. He won the Heisman in 2013, which was his first year as a starter.

Winston signed a $23.35 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but one of the conditions of the contract is that he doesn’t play any other sport other than football. In college he also played baseball.

He started as a rookie in the NFL. His team went 6-10. Winston threw for 4,042 yards, 22 TDs, and 15 interceptions. Time will tell if he develops into an elite QB in the NFL.
