Sefo Liufau, Colorado, has thrown for 10 TDs and ran for six so he has a total of 16 TDs accounted for. He has thrown for 1,880 yards, 10 TDs, and three interceptions. He has run for 422 yards and six TDs. His stats could be better, but he missed two games because of injury and more or less missed one more game due to injury.
Sefo started as a true freshman for the Buffaloes. He is the all-time leading passer at Colorado with a 9,260 yards passing and counting during his four year career. Sefo has persisted even when he was about lose his job to potential Texas Tech transfer Davis Webb, who opted to go to California instead.
Prior to this year his record was 10-27 as the Buffaloes quarterback, now his team is 9-2, poised to win their division, and there is even talk of a potential playoff spot. Just goes to show you what persistence can get you. Hats off to Sefo!
