We have been writing a lot about Cupcake Games. This week we turn to Yawn Fests: extremely low scoring games. We concentrated on the last twenty years of college football, because low scoring games were often the norm throughout College Football history. The lowest scoring game in College Football in the last 20 years was a 3-0 “thriller” in 2005 between the Arkansas State Red Wolves and the Florida Atlantic Owls. The Red Wolves won in overtime when Eric Neihouse kicked a 21-yard field goal to end the game.
