Defensive End Bubba Smith from Michigan State was the first pick of the 1967 NFL Draft. Bubba was drafted by the Baltimore Colts.
Bubba was a two-time All-American. His Michigan State teams won National Championships his junior and senior seasons.
Smith played in the NFL for nine seasons. His team won Super Bowl V and lost Super Bowl III. He was a two-time Pro-Bowler. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
