Rough day at the office for the Louisville Cardinals.

They were wupt 36-10 last night and quite frankly the game was never close. Lamar Jackson had his most brutal day ever in college football and one of the worst beatings college football has seen in a long time; he was sacked 11 times, 11 times!!! Holy cr**!

So what is the aftermath?

1. Louisville is out of the playoff race. It is Clemson’s to lose now.
2. Lamar Jackson’s Heisman run is over. Not that one game can define a season, but the beating was too big and it came too late in the season, as well as others will have spectacular games this weekend. Bad timing to lay an egg and yes his offensive line is also to blame, but Heisman voters don’t vote for offensive lines. So Lamar is out of the Heisman race.
3. The College Football Playoff picture has become a bit clearer. However, if Clemson falters the ACC could be out as there are two Big Ten teams knocking on the door.

Overall, this was the start of week 12 we have been predicting.

Louisville’s loss just solidifies our prediction that Clemson wins its division and all its remaining games thereby returning to the College Football Playoffs. We were also predicting Louisville would cover the spread and then some as Tom Herman is too good of a coach and is team would be and was ready.
