The teams have played 84 times. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish lead the series with 44 wins, 5 ties, and 35 loses to the USC Trojans.

The two teams play this Saturday, November 25, 2016, at 3:30 pm in Los Angeles. USC is 8-3 this year and Notre Dame is 4-7. It is the last game of the regular season for both teams. We see USC winning this game easily and then Brian Kelly being released as the coach of Notre Dame. His record at Notre Dame is so-so, 59-30, with one appearance in the National Championship where they were destroyed 42-14 by the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Under Kelly’s leadership Notre Dame is being asked by the NCAA to vacate all its wins from the 2012 and 2013 seasons because of academic misconduct. Notre Dame is appealing this, but this most certainly does not help Coach Kelly keep his job.
