As of last Saturday, October 15, 2016, Donnel Pumphrey from San Diego State has rushed for 1,111 yards. He is the only one who has surpassed a thousand so far this season. He has 6.7 yards per carry average, 11 TDs, and 79 yards was his longest run.
Jamaal Williams, a running back from BYU, is almost 200 yards behind Donnel, while Donnel has played one fewer game. Donnel has lead his team to a 5-1 record and first place in the Mountain West West division.
